the canadian airsoft diference

I airsoft in england which truthfully has not been for that long but there are changes to the gun rules in canada. As i am moving out there in a few months i am asking a few questions like are there any rules with idendification of guns such as an orange mussle and is a license required to buy airsoft guns, aswell as any other information will be of great help

You can't bring your airsoft guns into Canada. You'll have to sell them before leaving, and buy new ones once here. Prepare to spend a LOT of money. The scarce availablity of guns and the grey area of the law airsoft occupies here in Canada make guns VERY expensive by most other countries' standards.

If you have any airsoft guns, it would be adviseable to sell them before you come, or atleast canabalise them for all the parts that you can bring into Canada. Essentially everything but the reciever would be permissable, thats the jist of it, its a little more complicated.

There is no requirement for orange tips.

There is no license require to buy airsoft guns.

Uhm, you can't "officially" (ie. it is not adviseable to bring in a "full" gun because it'll get seized) - however you can take it apart (and I mean fully apart) and put different pieces in different luggages. Might want to be careful with the receiver though...

You still have to declare it. If you don't, that's smuggling, and that's illegal, and we will not advocate it on this forum.

I wouldn't recommend trying to sneak anything illegal into the country. That's not a good idea. In a sense, MacG!ver is correct - to a point. The recomendation to sneak it over is foolish. You have to declare everything you bring over the border.

But you could technically part out an AEG and bring all the parts except the receiver or a silencer (if you have one). You can declare the parts and legally import them. Then you can get then get a new body for your gun once you're here and rebuild it. The bodies are still expensive here, but it's cheaper than buying a whole gun.

Yes, exactly - do declare the parts (my bad). Just sell your body & receiver.

It's a link to the Canadian Laws regarding airsoft, it's advised you read that first before you post again <-- I dont mean that in an evil way
