Scope For Scar-L

I got a G&G Scar-L.
I want to buy an acog style scope.
But is a regular acog scope good for woodland combat? or should I get a scope with some magnification??

And I don't really know wich acog scopes (illuminated ones) are good -...

thx

Airsoft guns dont have the accuracy or range for magnification.
Get the RDS version.
G&P makes some good ones I think.

I find 5-9x on sniper scopes to be useful for observation. But yes, anything beyond 4x is going to be a waste for effective fire.

I got a 551 replica and I'm getting an ACOG 4x as well.

But I suggest you get a normal red dot, be it an eotech, aimpoint or acog red dot.

How about the Eotech and 3xmagnifier combo
or the Aimpoint and 3xmagnifier.

Not to divert the threads focus or anything, but I was in the market for a 4x ACOG scope (with iron sites on the top) for a JG 416, is the 4x magnification overkill, or is it a practical purchase? Apperantly the opinions are mixed in this thread as to the 4x, asking for clarification.

I was also thinking of getting the 3x magnifier from Huang on top of a RDS if the ACOG is "impractical."

EDIT: Fuck it, I'm going with Huang's Eotech package.
