My brother in-law bought me this off e-bay for my birthday this year:

http://cgi.ebay.com/3-Watt-Luxeon-LE...QQcmdZViewItem

It's feakin' bright, but run time is only about an hour on a 123a. I use it for work. He got it for about $30 with 10 extra batteries and shipping to Canada.

Mcguyver, how would that led light be for indoor airsoft in low light conditon? Does the beam project far, or is it just general area?

It's feakin' bright. I've seen it project a beam at night outdoors for over 100 feet. I use it during the day, when I'm in a crawlspace or in any poorly lit areas around equipment. It's not really a wide beam at all.
