Step 1 is finished. Went to Fabricville earlier and picked up the foam they had, it's perfect but only came in one colour.
Steps 2 and 3 will be cutting out the shapes, and painting the entire thing either very dark grey or black.

Depending on how deep your brief case is and how much work you have to work with on the inside, set it up like this.
http://www.casesbypelican.com/military/m9-5pack.htm It wont display the guns as well, but its good for space saving, and if you cut it right you may even have room for additional magazine space. A piece of foam 3.5 feet x 1.5 feet and 2 inches deep ran me about 20 bucks, its not cheap stuff though, very high quality foam. The two pieces of quater inch deep foam of the same size only cost me 10.

I can't picture either an M93R or a Desert Eagle (which, some of the biggest standard handguns out there, are ironically what we have) going into these at an angle.

I understand, large guns may not work so well, perhaps two cases would work better, 3 per case.
Also Same idea as above, but cut the grooves at a 45 degree angle so they slant? It may look somewhat off though, just a passing thought.

don't have the brief case yet, I'm looking for one that's deep and recessed on both the bottom and top part so I can have guns on both the bottom of the case and the lid of the case. 3 on each side. The slots wont work, unfortunately. =P But it's a neat idea.
P.S. http://www.casesbypelican.com/military/m9-36pack.htm JESUS CHRIST! How many Beretta's do you need!? Last edited by matt491; December 1st, 2007 at 01:13.. |

Im guessing it would probly be for military, although I could see it just as storage and transport for police as well. Perhaps, I dont know.

Well my case is done in the same manner as Bob's but I'm thinking of getting another case for my future pistols and the other for my sights and so on.
