AN PEQ 2 question
why do the real steel AN PEQ 2's seam to all have a sort of string that wraps around them on both sides.
if you dont understand what i am talking about here is a pic. |

I have also seen zip straps used for the same purpose.

Paracord also comes in handy if you don't have a rail to bolt the PEQ onto

I will have to dig around in my pics of modern soldiers. I have one were a Canadian soldier in A-Stan has his PEQ Zip strapped and then secured with 100mph tape.
Apparently they hate the triad sooooo much they wont even use it to attach a most important piece of equipment.
