A paintball mask could easily be modified to look gasmask-ish, and still allow the use of pball/tac goggles. Just mount a filter can onto it (drive a screw right into it through the mask).

Look nice, but does it filter stuff for real or just dust?
When we use some brand of smoke grenade, the smell is so disgusting, filtering most of it really help keeping your ground hehe. I'd have to try it though. Last time we used it, we had no gas mask and it was unbareble.

breathing in one of those things is like being a fat kid. if it's just for show remove the stuff inside the filters and pop out the valves.
