Ridge on hopup bucking?

i was wondering where this ridge was suppose to go.. i'm assuming the ridge is suppose to be in line with the "nub"?

There should be a line on the rubber (look inside) that will slide in the groove on the barrel-the nub is where the hop up will push down on it.
