Well the mg42 kit arrived today from the US from the link I first posted from Cushman paintball and I must say I am very dissappointed in their kit. The parts the way they were cut out is nothing like what is shown on their website. I am an experienced modeler and see no way to assemble this kit with satisfactory results. I have e-mailed them and voiced my opinions about this kit and informed then I would never buy again from them or advise my friend who wanted to buy 2 of their kits.

Thats unfortunate to hear. I would have guessed by the way they never show close ups of their guns. Im sure in real life it might not look that bad at 100 feet or more either. But once you get close up it should be obvious that somethings wrong.

You could try putting a mechbox in the MG42 ruger 10/22 kit. I was thinking about going down this road myself. But I gave up on the idea once I found out that the kit is 2/3 scale. Or would be the same length as a M4. Wouldnt look right holding a miniature MG42.

The kit is listed here. Scroll down.

Well from their pics on their website the mg42/34's don't look that bad. They are nicely trimmed down the centerline but what I got sure wasn't trimmed that way
