G36C silencer width (without adaptor)

Hey folks, how wide is the opening (where the barrel exits) at the front of a G36C's handguard? I want to put a silencer on mine without using an adaptor, so the silencer must be under a certain width to fit into that opening. But what's the width?

I don't have my gun yet, but I'm working on ordering accessories for it, which is why I'm asking. Thanks in advance.

I use a quick-detach suppressor that slides over the flash hider, very quick to put on, stays on great, looks nice.

14mm.

All silencer / AEG's if they're threaded are 14mm

(With the exeption of the TM MK23 NBB, It's a 16mm)

Let me try again. You know how there's that hole at the front of the handguard. You know, the one that has to be there in order for the barrel to stick out? I need to know how wide that hole is at its widest point.

It's 1"1/16" or 26.9mm pretty much 27mm.

i have a silencer on my G36C and it is prety big it is from a P90 and it fits good lots of room left over.

I'm using a CA RAS on the front of mine. I didn't like the opening at the front so installed a King Arms OPS Model 15th CQB Silencer with a length 185 mm and diameter of 38mm. Fits the RAS perfectly....

PS. I used the stock barrel assembly by unscrewing the outer barrel and used the G36C muzzle threads...
