How about King Arms bodies for the AK series, does anybody know what metal composition KA uses, and if they're any good?

King Arms is pretty damn good. I think I'm going to build an AK one day....

That's what I'm doing, and it's been easier than I thought. Also, neglecting shipping costs, I'm saving about $200-$300 (depends on retailer) (so far have all TM parts). But bloody, nobody has a inner barrel, hop-up unit, front sight (rear sight either) or gas block used. Which means I'm going to have to buy new, and probably aftermarket, which is upping my costs.

I don't have much experience with metal bodies but it seems like everyone has good experience with G&P and HurricanE. Many people also think the CA bodies are pretty good out of the box but I find them to scratch fairly easily. If i just took my finger nail and brush the surface, it would leave a mark. Are all airsoft bodies like this or can I expect more from the HurricanE bodies?

It is not silky smooth, rather it just has a weird ass paint job that real recievers do not have.
