I figured seeing as how my affair with this piece is almost over that I would finally share her with the world. I am of course talking about my M-14 mistress. She started from humble beginnings; I pick up my mail order bride from Ken at 007 airsoft last summer just before all the brewhaha started in BC. I got it completely stock and used it for the remainder of the season with great success.

Then during the cold winter nights I would look longingly at my beauty and the decision was made "Pimp my bride" as a few members of TEAM SWAT had decided to fill sniper roles. Out of spite and necessity, I decided that I could fill the counter sniper role, and so I started with getting all the parts necessary. I got the Prometheus 6.03 tb and the guarder FTK ( I ended purchasing a Prometheus non-liner spring due to local field limits) I sourced out the paint to another company (not that I was a fan of another man's hands on my lady, but any who) When cleaning and re-assembly was complete I couldn't wait to take her out (I found out it would shoot thru 2 large cardboard boxes filled with packing foam and still leave very noticeable holes in the drywall....lesson learned)




The day came I finally got to sight her in properly. I had it tuned so I was filling a small window from approx 140' (the usual sniper spot; upper right window) the heavens opened, angels sang, and I couldn't wait for the next game day to watch my friend and comrades cower in fear. Sadly that day hasn’t come yet, and it seems as it was not to be as it seems that we would be switching to a brit kit this year, which, meant that the M-14, crafted by TM had to go. As I bid her farewell I felt that I must let you the lucky few gaze in awe, and make a tribute to a love lost. lol anyways.
