Armalite retractable stocks?

Im looking for a new look for my M16 and i want to go with something different. Do any companys make a sliding stock that slides right close to the gun like the MP5s or the EBR kits?

Its going to be a QCB gun when im done and i want it to be able to colaps really small.

Thanks

You can try a LR300 type folding stock. It flips to the side of the receiver instead of sliding into the body.

The best I've found would be the TAF M231 Tactical Telescope Stock. Though, it looks kind of fugly with the buffer tube still in place.

A good hacksaw job or a shorter buffer tube would make it much better.

One reason you might have some trouble is that no such thing exists for a REAL armalite.

Inside the stock is the recoil spring, it juts out a few inches from the back of the receiver so you can't have an M16 without the stock.

Uses a telescoping stock, it works nicely.

That link is basicly what im looking for but its a bit fugly. If you can chop the rest of the tube off it would be ok (right after the step up in size).

If only it looked a bit "cooler"

This is what I did to get a stock that could get shorter,

Its the G&G Folding stock, depending on your metal body if you have to cut the buffer tube "insert" to get it to fit. I'm happy with it, but there are other options. There are stocks that retract and fold like the mentioned LR300 stock. Also you can get a CQB plate that just eliminates the stock completely.

EDIT: I did have to remove the ready mag as it did interfere with the folding stock. But with the LR300, you may be able to get away with it.

Not what your looking for, but here are some not-so-common armalite stocks.

I love the top stock in the chain of pictures. I will be putting together a very small armalite called the PLR-16 made by Kal-Tech in real life but insted of choping the rear stub off and remolding the nub i was going to look for a retractable first.

Im really surprised at the veriation of stock for the armalites and i love them all. I dont understand the "tube" stocks i cant imagin that being very comfy in realsteal.
