The fit is very adjustable. No problem for most sizes.
My buddy Reaper has the first one in Canada. The picture of it is on my site as well, in the Gallery.

Sorry to dig this one up but can anyone explain the differences between the Eagle CIRAS (land) and the Plate Carrier w/ cummerbund (PC-W/C)?
I notice that the top of the chest area is a little lower and the back seems a little lower as well on the PC-W/C, but there's a HUGE pirce difference. Is the CIRAS really worth the extra $ over the PC-W/C? Thanks, Marco P. |

Marco
The CIRAS is releasable. You pull a cord and it falls apart The plate carrier does not do this.

Is that pretty much the only difference? (other than the shoulder pads needed on the PC-W/C)

No, about $350 USD's different...

The ciras will take most types of soft armour, as well as hard armour plates. The Plate carrier wont take standard soft armour. Also, the Ciras is a full vest with more real estate for pouches then the plate carrier.
Simply put, the CIRAS is a releasable armour carrier, and the plate carrier is just, well, a plate carrier. |

Actually, only a $100USD ($399 for PC w/ CB in non-releasable flavour, $499 for the CIRAS). I'm looking forward to handling both soon. I just don't feel comfortable with the entire set-up revolving around a piece of cord to hold it together (even if it's 550 para ).
