G&P outer barrel question...
I would like to replace my aeg's outer barrel with something a little different. I'm just wondering if a Dytac Night Hawk would fit? I know they are made for the WA and TM but not sure if it will fit my aeg.

Thank you. I will order one of those. I found my 10" barrel a bit short so I'm going to move up to a 12" barrel.

Another option is to get a 2" barrel extension. They exist but I don't know who makes them. IIRC VFC has one and Madbull may have one (and I assume there are ACM and Element versions out there) but look around at other companies if you want.
ie. looks like this - CCW to CCW threading: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessori...n-ccw-ccw.html NB: G&P barrels are CW threading so if you get a barrel extension you must get a CW to CW extension if you want to keep the original flash hider (or CW to CCW if you want to change your flash hider appropriately).

hate to bump this but how on earth do you remove the outer barrel from the top rail assembly.
i have every possible screw removed but the one piece upper with rails doesnt want to separate from the barrel |

What?
Is it a freefloat rail or does it use a delta ring assy.? If the latter you need an AR wrench if the former what kind of rail is it?

The Hex screws on the bottom of the RAS by the lower receiver. Loosen them up and pull the barrel out. Should be like the Real LMT.
Spray some silicone oil in there as well. you're just going to have to wiggle it. Was prob assembled fresh and the dust coating on the rail has prob glued with the outer barrel joint..
