Tokyo Marui M1911A1 hammer catching on loading nozzle
Hey all. I have a TM M1911A1 kitted with a guarder aluminum kit and some other external goodies.
The hammer is catching at the back of the slide between the hammer pad and the loading nozzle causing the action to be rough and not allowing the loading nozzle to settle back into its normal position when the action is open. What should I do? Anyone else have this issue before? Is there parts (sears and whatnot), was the frame simply fitted improperly (which I doubt, my gun doc does this on a monthly basis without issue with other customers)? I trust my gun doc 100% but I just wanted to get some more input, see what else could be causing the issue. Ill be throwing it back into its plastic frame to see if there is a fitment issue. Thanks all |

UPDATE: Transfering the midframe with internals to the stock plastic frame made no difference.

UPDATE: Borrowed a friend's fresh TM M1911A1. Turns out the 1911 I have was missing a small piece that slips into the hammer which stops the hammer from shoving up into the slide, causing my issue.
