Honestly, make SOME effort and read the various sections of this website as you were told...
Here's the 'newbie' guide. This is a generic response. Pick the parts that apply to you. FAQ: (Frequently Asked Questions) Button at top of forum list. I bet what you want has probably been asked before. Information: Button at far top of page. You might find the Information you are looking for. And check the pinned subjects in the forums... Canadian Retailers: Button at far top of the screen. If they are not listed, DONT buy from them. You can also look at the Classifieds section on the main page, or Trumart who owns this website. You must now be 18 to buy guns, and verified, to visit our forum classifieds. International retailers and information: Button at the far top of the screen. Good for information, but buy from Canadian Retailers. Teams and people to meet (pick your Province): Team section, go see and contact folks. They will know where to play and where to shop in your area. Search button: Learn to love it. If you cant find what you need at all in there, check again. If your profile does not tell us the city you live in, we cant direct you to local help and services, so please fill it. If you're under 18, wait. Read a lot; we dont spoonfeed what has been written already. |

Greylocks, I understand you guys must get some real special cases, and I do want to avoid spoon feeding. But I do believe some of my questions could not be answered in the FAQ. I did make a mistake about the local games question and now have another Montrealer PM'ing me some info.
I wasn't asking about retailer information or importing. But thanks for the tip anyways. At this point I have already taken the advice of the members above and have searched some links that were suggested. BTW, my profile states the following under general information, "Age: 28 Location: Montreal, QC " Monty P.S. Maybe it's a mis-understanding on my part, but the FAQ that I see at the top of the page (between "User CP" and "New Posts") brings me to a Forums specific faq and vBulletin information, not airsoft. |

I'm pretty sure Greylocks is talking about this FAQ section. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

I edited my generic text for the next time.
Yes, check the Information Center section of the forum. Also check the Teams section for Quebec. Why? Because if you contact local people, they will know where to shop and where to play, and when the next game is. On top of that, you can get any question answered in seconds. Is that not worth it? The text I posted was pre-written, not custom made, so any part that did not apply to you, you can ignore. |
