e's Tokyo Marui / Kuan-Ju Works / Wei-Tech Glock 19: "Ludus"
Greetings all,
Sooo.... Got my hands on a KJW G19 a couple of weeks back. Thought I might combine the three specs into one gun ....cuz...you know...I can... Truthfully, this build didn't even need to happen. The KJW spec'd gun I received were more than enough for what I wanted. The previous owner had done a fantastic job putting THAT gun together (thanks Peter!!). In essence this is a mixture of my taste and his (the previous owner). Anyways, this is my take on a Tokyo Marui / KJW / WE Glock 19. Enjoy! KUWABARA. KUWABARA. This Glock features a WE spec slide. It is an ACE 1 Arms "Costa Ludus" aluminum slide and barrel kit. It came with its own set of sights. THe rear sight is an unmarked Heighny or 10-8 style sight while the front is a fiber optic front sight in red. This slide is not ideal for Marui spec'd Glocks. There was much needed modifications made in order to get its functionality. Particularly, this slide for whatever reason didn't allow the slide catch engage. The rails on the front was too long. So I modified the slide greatly (..and sloppily) to retrieve this functionality. Now she works beautifully (slide catch and all). The barrel is a silver barrel from a Detonator Kit that I inherited. It gives the overall feel of a Costa Glock much like the Costa M&P. This gun draws many parallels to that aesthetic design. Overall though, the ACE 1 Arms are not the greatest. The aluminum is not a great quality as I had hoped it would be. The paintjob is not the greatest either. Seems rushed anodizing in a way ( if that all makes sense ) and just makes the slide feel cheap and hard to look at. I suppose a buyer beware sort of warning is at hand here but I'm just going to simply state that there are other kits out there that are far better for the money. The positive thing about this kit is that the markings are well engraved. The "19" shows up well in photographs. The "Salient Arms International", though small, is very nice on the eyes. The serrations are nice too. I guess. The frame is a KJW spec Guarder Glock frame for the KJW G23/G19 system. A ton of work went into custom fitting the WE slide to this frame. The frame is a Gen 3 frame. It sports all the correct markings as you find on a Glock. It feels nice but not any different from the full length frames from Guarder. A Gen 3 frame was chosen because Gen 4s are downright ugly as fuck... Internally, this gun is all Marui spec'ed. Everything from the trigger housing to the blowback unit to the hop up unit was replaced. The only KJW spec remaining is the front chassis and trigger bar. THe rest all Marui. ...And they are upgraded internals too. Just check out the Upgrade list below for full specs. This gun chrono's at approximately 300-310 on 20g BB Bastards and propane gas. ..ish gud. The Parts Kit: -Guarder G19/G23 frame for KJW Glock 23/19 (black) -Guarder 6.02 Tightbore Inner barrel for KJW Glock 23/19 -Guarder Steel Inner frame for KJW Glock 23/19 -Guarder Steel Disconnector For Marui Glock -Guarder 150% recoil spring and spring guide -Guarder Stock Weight blowback Unit For Marui Glock 17 -Guarder Slide lock (std type) For Marui Glock -Guarder Steel magazine catch (modified to fit) -NOVA Hop Up Bucking -Ace1 Arms Aluminum Slide and Barrel set (Costa Ludus w/o RMR set up) For WE Glock 19 -Ace1 Arms sight set -Detonator Aluminum Outer Barrel (silver) -Gunsmodify Steel Zero Hammer For Marui Glock 17 -Gunsmodify Steel Sear For Marui Glock 17 -Gunsmodify Steel Firing pin For Marui Glock 17 -Gunsmodify Hammer housing spring set For Marui Glock 17 -Gunsmodify Salient Arms trigger kit For Marui Glock 17 -Gunsmodify Extended slide lock For Marui Glock 17 -Shooter's Design 150% hammer spring For Marui Glock 17/18c -UAC Aluminum Loading Muzzle FOr Marui Glock 17 -UAC Aluminum Floating Valve blocker for Marui Pistol -UAC Aluminum Hammer housing for Marui Glock 17 -UAC 125% Loading muzzle spring -Action Aluminum Floating valve -Airsoft Surgeon Piston head for Marui Glock 17 -TSC Aluminum Hop up Unit for Marui Glock 17 I think that;s all of them. lol. willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

I HATE them. I would never run this gun in its current slide config. I would run what ARC-74 put on there. The Detonator kit is much more preferred than the ACE1 garbage.
I HATE Guarder products as well but here I am. The purpose of this build wasnt to put a SAI slide on a gun. It was to successfully marry a WE spec slide onto a Marui spec gas system. It just so happened that the ACE1 slide was the cheapest WE slide I can find. It's second hand.

Hey luder,
Im truly a fan of your work, the integration of the we and tm spec is incredible! Where did you find the 19 ace1arms slide in canada I know its not a good slide but i do have a we19 and id like to try it out. If your planning to part out the slide let me know or if you have suggestions for g19 slides. Cheers, |
