Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Yeah you will want 500fps or more for .43 and a shitload of hop up
(r hop, flat hop or some other mod, a normal hop wont cut it above .32 or .36. Even less for most guns ive owned) also the .43 did crush easily. The .40 did not. Both are high quality i run them in my vsr10, 500fps on .20 and a bridge hop built into the laylax hop chamber and mags thatll shoot bb's 20-30 feet if you depress the retainer.

I thought it may be the spring as well, but even on a brand new mag it does this.... anyway, heres the pic.. I wanted to know what was happening inside the mag so I cut a piece of clear acrylic, used a heat gun to bend it and elastic bands to fasten it to the mag so I could see the BBs without them flying out at my face. The bbs will advance fine for a few then it gets stuck and I have to smack it with a rubber mallet to get the next one to advance. Its not the feed lips because its not even making it to them, although I have modified them already and the mag cycles smoothly on other types of bbs... It looks like it has something to do with the shape of the feeder ramp (being symmetrical) trying to push two rows of BBs... why this happens only with the 0.43s and not the 0.36s leads me to believe it has something to do with material, unless theres something else I can't see.

I see your problem, a really shitty follower design.

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?
|
Likely zinc is used for weight.

Could be iron as filler too. The we branded heavy bbs are magnetic due to iron content

Are you sure it's iron? Doesn't need to be ferrous to be magnetic

I think so, but I am going by forum chatter. I think there was a thread here about the filler in the dark color madbull heavy weights. I've got some 0.40's, maybe I crush a few and see if I can get rusty water in a shot glass with them...?

Oxygen causes rust, not water.
The fastest way to get iron to rust is actually to degrease it! |
