WE GBBR M4 Magazine Co2 repairs
Hello,
I've taken apart the co2 magazine (older / gen 1 / closed bolt) for WE M4's. I've checked the o-rings and everything seems to be there, and the 3 o-rings on the top release valve seems to be secured and in the right places. However, after installing a new cartridge, there is still a small leak coming from the top. Any ideas? replace valve?

May of mis-understood, I think you meant the actual valve as opposed to the fill valve, is what I meant...
For that valve, you can try the treads.. but unsure really.. Did you try to soak O-rings or maybe it just needed to be pressurized? |

There's a "DEVILHUNTER" mod for GHK Co2 and green gas mags, basically for the CO2 magazines you are able to re-fill the mags and the canister inside with a CO2 bottle.. granted I don't know how safe it is, but the gas efficiency is about 5 mag full. That being said - for me personally, it's easier after each round, to come back, reload, and top off with gas and go back to pew pew pew. I use this, about $4.99 a can at walmart or crappy tire. |
