Has anybody seen this?
http://www.nlairsoft.com/en/home/ite...-pictures.html
any thoughts?
I personally hate it, they took a great gun and made it an M4 wonna be. If I was to get this, which I won't, I would end up doing the exact same I did with my MX5. take out all the weird parts ICS, and change it with the traditional parts. I admit, I a little exited to see what they are going to do with it.
I'm curious to see if they will have a Version 3 split gearbox.

Thoughts?

Wow that's hot. I only use G36 variants so anything new gets me hard as fuck! That rail system is so sexy! I might just have to get one.

How is that an "m4 wannabe"? Just because they included the mag well conversion?

I'd take it over standard g36 mags. Makes for easier use of buddy mags in a game since m4 are the predominant weapon on most fields.

And M4 mags are a lot easier to carry.

Like the rail, allot, very low profile which is nice. Not too hard for the stock but meh, it's not terrible. The pistol grip.... why ICS why? I dislike what they have been doing with some models as of late in terms of the pistol grip designs.

I like it. The fact that it takes M4 mags is a huge plus, G36 mags are a BITCH to fit in a pouch. The stock looks like a love it or hate it type deal... I'd have to hold one to find out. Pistol grip looks ok to me, why all the hate? : s Overall, sexxxy. I might just have to consider getting one

Love that STANAG mag. Rear stock is kind of meh in my opinion but I could see some people liking it. For me I'd be kind of on the fence.

Also, your MX5. How do you change the proprietary ICS parts to standard parts.... Just wondering... I thought that was physically impossible.

Well, first of all, the only proprietary parts in ics guns internally is the air nozzle and gearbox shell, which can be found quite easily unlike ARES.
I replaced the stock for a full stock and re wired it. Im planning on changing the mosfet for a non programable mosfet for better reliability. The flash hider was hideous so i put a silencer on it. I might buy a new lower reciever f an ics lower gearbox can fit in it. I also bought a new lower gearbox so i can change my fps in seconds.

I dont have much done yet, but my future plans are bright.

I've looked before too, but there doesn't seem to be one on the Canadian market yet. If you get age verified maybe there'll be one in the classified section, but I doubt it. I cant tell anyways because Im also not age verified yet. You could buy one across the border but expect around $30-$40 for shipping and $30-$50 of custom fees. Sucks, I know. I'm not dying to get one yet but I'm sure if you were to wait a bit it'll be on the Canadian market, it just recently came out.

it's a modified g36 essentially... modified enough that h&k doesn't sue the pants off of them.

the body is nylon fiber like the other g36s on the market.

I have not had any issues with the internals thus far and I am not expecting them to give anytime soon. And to those of you that wanted to know of a Canadian Retailer you can buy it here.
