Question G&P gas Pmag doesn't fit G&P WOC...

I can't figure this one out...I got a G&P WOC (magpul body - not a challenge kit) and the G&P Pmag that came with it doesn't fit the magwell. You can insert the mag maybe a quarter of the way and then after that it gets completely stuck. Any suggestions besides heavy sanding to a brand new mag or magwell? Is this common?

G&P P Mags are made from a poor mold, its not uncommon to buy 3 and have 2 that doesn't fit inside the mag well.

and the quality of their lower receivers seem to be decreasing more and more other the years

firstly Make sure you own a REGULAR G&P P-mag and not the ones for the VFC custom 416c.

Secondly you might want to start with some 600Grit wetsand paper, and wetsand the pant off the magwell,

be sure to remove the mag catch for easy sanding, ( New M4A1 metal bodies such as the VRSB and the M7A1's lower receiver has file marks from factory due to the poor fitment of mags.

If you want, you have have me fit the magazines in for you. I'm doing it for 2 other project WOCs one more on my plate doesnt seem like much since I'm already at it

Okay thanks for the info. It is going to take some major sanding for this one to fit, am I better off with a different magazine type? Would a Prowin fit better?

prowin are slightly slimmer,

regardless, you should sand your magwell, I have to do this with ALL of mine. G&P's QC seems to be going to shit
