I went with the AEG 417 for one reason: Winter.

Maybe the 7.62 mags will hold a decent amount of gas...

sure, why not, but keep in mind that it uses a larger and heavier carrier group than M4/416s. so though it can hold more gas, it likely uses more too.

Seeing as they're going with an opaque magazine the gas capacity should be up there. Going the translucent route with the fake bullets would leave the gun with very little gas to work with.

They also announced that they are releasing the extended barrel and rail system that was used on the special limited edition 417 350c seperately.

If your worried about parts dont be all you have to do is contact VFC directly and they will sell you anypart you will need.
