My new CYMA M14 Socom.

I recently purchased this item, and have decided to post some pictures of it.

About the gun:
I'm actually very impressed with the CYMA M14's performance.
It's quite accurate for what it's got, and it shoots remarkably hard. My only complaints out of the box is a high-cap magazine, which is preference only.

The guns feel and finish are unbelievable, one of the nicest guns I've held, albeit that's not too many. The gun is VERY sturdy and heavy, almost a burden to dredge through the bush with at times but still so worth it for that real-steel feeling. All in all, I wanted an AEG that handled and felt like a rifle, and dammit that is what this gun is meant for.

The only thing I've done to the gun is the custom paint (it came black), and bought the Swiss Arms aimpoint from the surplus I purchased the gun at.

So far a $480 investment, another $90 to spend, and I couldn't be happier.

(I do recognize that I'm not AV'd, and apologize, but it's strictly because of my work schedule is too busy. I didn't want to wait weeks to post this gorgeous rifle.)

Enjoy,
Whitey.

Nice paint job. Did you paint that, or did it come like that? And most players dispise hi-caps.

Very nice rifle. I'm interested in getting an M14 myself, and as far as I've looked (Not that far, honestly) I've only seen the three different TM types of M14.

How's everything holding up to firing tests?

Maybe you want to post this in the Review section?
Or probably more appropriately in the Media section?

Outstandingly to be honest. I couldn't be happier. I read a lot about people replacing the hop-up rubber on this particular M14, and I have no desire at all. It shoots very accurate and consistent. I'd give it an 8.5.
