Good M4 Sling?
Can anybody recommend a sling for an TM M4, I had one of the G&P ones, but like most of the G&P acessories I've purchased, was a piece.
So, any help would be appreciated, also, any links as to where I could buy the sling would be helpful. Thanks!

Are you looking for anything in particular? Certian slings work better for differnt play styles.
I use a one point because it allows me to have lots of control over my gun and can shoulder my weapon on the left or right. Only downside is if your walking around, your rifle/smg/ect will have lots of free play. Are you looking for one, two or a three point sling? |

CPGear (www.wheelersonline.com) has an excellent sling. Look around you might find some other items you may want

I've used both a 1-point and 3-point sling.
I find that the 3 Point sling works best, for what I want. I want my weapon slung in such a way that as long as I am on my feet (crouching, kneeling, standing, etc) and if I let go of my weapon it will not hit the ground. Also, when patrolling I am able to relax a bit while keeping my rifle still up at a ready position. With a 1-point sling you pretty much have to carry the rifle all the time, and it only comes in handy when you are not moving and standing. For some they like this, as they want to have their weapon at ready at all times. For me, I don't need this. To each his own though. I suggest you try both, and then sell the one that you don't like as much. In my case, I kept both.

I'll second that. I have one (the Contractor Pak - it comes with about a million extra little attachments), and while pricey the fucking thing is the bomb - it can be used 1, 2, or 3 point. Got it from Farmboy on these boards, who runs www.oneshottactical.com.

The Blue Force Gear Contractor Pak can fit almost all weapons out there and like Skruface said will do 1, 2 and 3 point.
If you only want it for your M4 there are smaller Paks than the Contractor one. As shown in the pics the sling is modular so you can purchase adaptors later for the base sling if you buy more weapons. then leave the adaptors on the weapons and move the sling from one to another. The 2 and 3 points are great for patroling etc. while the 1 point is best for CQB. With the Blue Force SOC-C sling you only need the one.

I might be buying another AEG in October, when I turn 18, so I'll just buy the entire package.
