Low budget airsoft Gun
So I recently bought an SRC dragon M4 and its pretty good, for 210$ at least. but I had some major problems with the Motor. So I dont make that much cash for airsoft, at my age, its hard to afford the expensive G&G stuff. so whats a good gun (350$ max) that I can purchase in Canada? I was thinking of buying the ARES G36c but i've heard some bad things about it.

try to find a used tokyo marui, or save up and get a new one
Marui's have the longest standing track record of ANY brand for amazing reliability. they're not dirt cheap like the chinese guns, but they're obviously TM spec making them 100% compatible with upgrade parts, and they're internals just never break down. just upgrade the hop rubber and you've got a great performing outdoor gun |

Before buying a new gun, what are the problems with the motor with the current one? It may be an easy/cheap fix or upgrade to repair what needs to be on your current gun.

I'm fixing my old one, but I I already have plans on buying a new one, it's just a hassle finding a repair man in Calgary. 007 is the best but he's booked for 2 weeks. So I like to avoid having a problem. And I tried fixing it my self, but it's not just a detached motor, it's a lot more.

You'd be surprised at how fast two weeks goes by. It may end up being faster/cheaper waiting the two weeks and getting your gun into 007.

Not true, you can talk about guns you just can't tell where to buy them.
Get a King Arms M4A1 great gun for the price. You can get them for $300 or less these days. I personally stay away from Ares because I feel they have too many propriatory parts but I understand the Ares G36 isn't bad. The best G36 out there right now are probably the Classic Army and Tokyo Marui. Last edited by Kozzie; July 5th, 2012 at 18:39.. |

Generally a low budget gun = high budget repairs, but in the current market I would no longer consider $350 to be low budget. You can get some decent hardware for that money. Like was mentioned above, a stock Tokyo Marui or a King Arms M4 would probably fit the bill.
You have to remember that's JUST the gun, you still need batteries, charger, etc.
