As for the M320, anybody spot what sight they're using offside from the irons? Looks like a Doctor RDS to me.

Have you ever seen anyone get issued those sights? For issued sights I've only seen the Diemaco/Colt Canada BUIS an a black EoTech 552.
Seen lots of guys buy their own sights like those other ones shown in the pic aswell as others but never issued. Maybe CANSOFCOM gets them, but not the regular CF least from what I've seen. |

Mike the ARMS BUIS is just coming down the pipes;
http://www.casr.ca/doc-npp-c8a3-rear-sight.htm NSN:1005015643770 I agree that there is alot of swing when it comes to optics/sights. I brought my own ARMS #40 BUIS over that I managed to score from a friend. |

Well first of all the soldier in question is a Dutch Royal Marine. Also, you may be interested in knowing that Diemaco was bought out by Colt Canada not too long ago (very good news). Any ordnance from Diemaco was made in freakin Poland and seafared over to North America. Now C7's, C8's, etc. are manufactured right here in the great white north in Barrie(?) I believe.

Not sure which thread is a best one to ask this: When you guys got issued with the CADEX grip -- did the rail come with the grip or was it from a different vendor? It's not the Diemaco/Colt-Canada rail, is it? Could you check out who is the manufacturer of the rail?
thanks!

Like Mike said, Cadex all around. The rail and grip come in the same plastic bag, however most often the rail is installed and the grip is seperated.

You're pretty helpful to a valid question regarless of how "necro" it is...
The Wikipedia page quoted here already states the differences between the C8A2 and the C8A3, although a little cryptic. Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Canada_C7_rifle under the C8 section "Other C8 variants" you will find this, "The new version will be designated the C8A3. The C8A3 will combine the C8FTHB with the upgrades found on the C7A2. These improvements include green furniture, ambidextrous fire selector, magazine catch, and an extended ambidextrous charging handle." Just read the feature headings and it should become clear. |
