New to airsoft.. suggestions?

Hey,

Brand new to airsoft here but I'm looking to find a Desert Eagle, i have been looking quite a bit into the Chrome .50 TM Deagle but it appears to make the pistol metal requires quite a bit of money to be put into it..

Do you have any suggestions on Metal Deagles? or if its possible to still get a TM Chrome Deagle and purchase the zeke slide?

And if any of this is possible to do local? (GTA)?

Thanks for the input!

You cannot easily import airsoft guns due to our stupid laws, so you will need to get age verified if you want that gun.

This is basically a want ad for a gun. That's not allowed and a bannable offense.
Site policy says we aren't allowed to help non-AV'd users aquire guns.

Yes it is possible to get a TM DE in Canada.

Yes, if you are Age Verified people are quite happy dealing locally.

there are no "GOOD" full metal desert eagles

I have a matched pair of ying yang TM hard kick desert eagles... mags in they are one of the heaviest pistols on the market ... and they are PLASTIC (metal inner skeletons) ... the range and accuracy for a STOCK pistol is insane. for gaming use, personally I dont see a benefit from a full metal kit, but for the sake of realism I can see why some would.

be warned.. once you get used to a TM desert eagle... you can't go back to anything else... maybe a fully modded hicapa .. but it never feels right ... after nearly 2 years of gaming the crap outta em .. I'm just now sourcing out new recoil springs, and hop rubbers...

the ONLY downside I can think of ... is the power output, on propane I sit right on the edge of 350fps which is our limit for CQB encounters here.

I run .28's and can go toe to toe with almost any rifle on the fields round here ... at no time on the field do I have any quams dropping my rifle and going balls out with my pistol

while metal'ing out DE's would probably kick ass on a show off and realism level.... if you plan on gaming.. I would leave bone stock and replace anything as needed (with stock parts...with the exception of an internal metal part.. like the safety, trigger, hammer.. etc )

just my opinion as a TM DE user

full metal upgrade = full reliability downgrade - leave em stock and they will run for a long time
