FN2000 mags

Hey all,

Today I purchased the G&G FN2000 and after some trial with the mags I owned I found that the plastic ones did not feed at all and one of my metal mags worked but got jammed and had to be pulled out.

Question being does anyone know which mags work well with the FN2000?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

JTF27

the G&G F2000 is an odd one, if you look at the included hicap you'll notice that the plastic lip is shorter then on most mags. this is due to a retarded internal design (i think its a mechbox molding issue) in any case G&G m5 midcaps work fine.

One of my team members has one of these queer things, he has MAG mags for it, he had to modify them. The chunk of plastic that holds the BB retainer in place had to be filed down. There's a screw on the mechbox of that blocks mags from catching. See middle mag:

FYI
there's no such thing as FN2000....except in COD
It's called FN F2000

as for mags,
its high caps, G&G mid/low cap, or modded mid/low cap only. Mod is shown above.

Thanks for the replies, I'll give it a try. Thanks for the pro tip, was unaware of the proper name.

Cheers all.

Edit: Modded one mag and it feeds perfectly, thanks again.

Actually it is called a G&G G2010, CA mags won't fit in mine, KWA metal high caps feed, and G&P metal midcaps work once modified, if anyone tries the 190 rnd mids let me know, good luck any you will enjoy your addition, outranges most and very versatile, I love mine

Pmags definitely don't work, but emags will with some pushing. The short pmags work well though, and that's what I'm using currently (with some ranger plates).

It's not a big deal, stop de-railing the thread with this banter.

OP: If any of the above doesn't work, I can ask a fellow club-member here what he uses.

I use SRC low-caps, and they work like a charm. I had feeding issues with the high-cap that G&G included with the F2000, but I've had no trouble with the low-caps. Just be sure to check the size of the retainer, as detailed in the post above.
