AEG making a high-pitched squeal?
Instead of a low-pitched "Puff," it's making a high-pitched squeal. Seems to be shooting okay though...motor needs adjusting perhaps?

Motor needs adjusting, or gears need shimming/grease.
I just recently put together a mechbox and shimmed it nearly perfectly, but before I put grease on the gears it screamed like a banshee. Added gear grease and it was smooth as silk. |

how old is the motor? these motors degrade over time (especially the cheap china ones) though i have to agree with styrak, most likely a shim/ grease job

If you have a two piece gear, might be the bevel that broke in half (all the cansoft ICS suffer from that, and most new metal ones too)
