My G&G M4 jams help
Hey how are you guys? I just got an M4 full metal body and I went to shoot it and one bb fires and then nothing happens even with a full mag. I go to pull the mag out and a bunch of bbs fall out. This happens on semi and full auto. Can somebody help me out???

Is it a hicap? Are you winding it?
And BB's falling out is normal. |

I have a low and hicap mags. It does the same for both. It might be a feeding error on the mags part but all I know is that I shoot once and the next bb doesn't go into the barrel and I pull out the mag and a bunch fall out.

Try firing when pushing the mags upwards, see if they feed then. If so it's a hopup unit/mag mating situation.

I love these threads...mainly because M4s are what 90% of my gunwork consist of..
I strongly suggest you seek a repair from a local gundoc that can be found in the Stickythread "Calling all gun docs" I am also willing do fix this problem for you, provided you are willing to pay S+H both ways and fees. Est $45-$80 parts and labour. Also, any work you do yourself you do so at the risk of possible injury to yourseld or further damaging your AEG and is strongly discouraged. Having said that, I will provide some theories that I would assume to be true with the information provided in order of simplicity based on my own personal experience and knowledge. 1)Inner Barrel obstruction, unlikely because BB fires when loaded but always 1st excercise in basic maintenance. Instructiomanual should cover this procedure. 2)Hopup A)Dial is set too high and requires adjustment. Instruction manual should cover procedure. B)Bucking misaligned or damaged. Thia would require disassembly and replacement. C)feeding path obscured or damaged. This would require disassembly and replacement. 3)mag musfeeding, unlikely because BBs are ejected normally when mag is removed from well. 4)Magwell/receiver misaligned. May require disassembly and replacement. Most commonly the problem is in the hopup bucking, the MAX series seems to be problematic in this area.

I take that it is a hop up issue. THe hopup bucking is probably misaligned or turned up to high. You can come see me and I'll charge you less than $45 in parts and labour if it's a hop up issue OR you can go to youtube and look at vids on how to disassemble your hop up and figure it out from there for FREE. I know what I would do (SEE ME).

I have the G&G M4, just got it new last week, and sometime the bb's would not feed, so a took the whole gun down to the last piece(thanks youtube) re-lubed all the gears and rebuilt the hopup, and rewired the mechbox for a mosfet. Now everything works great, Being my first AEG, this things was pretty easy to take apart and fix, and you also learn how they work

I hope by lube, you mean grease, because silicon "lube" won't stay long on your gears. As soon as they will spin, the silicon will just go everywhere inside the GB except on your gears..
But it's good if you learned how to do it by yourself, it is really useful.

Is there an issue that a MOSFET doesn't fix?

Thank you everyone for all the suggestions and information and the help. I took it to a friend and they figured out that the problem was. What was happening was that there was a wire that lead just over the clip and when the clip was inserted it would move it and it wouldn't align right so it was feeding wrong. He moved the wire and now it works perfectly.
