Metal Mouse Pads Wanted
Got into a promo idea problem
at work— I need 50 pieces of aluminum or steel or something slick/sexy like it, so we can print or engrave a corporate message on the surface. Can anyone here produce such an item by this Friday?

Hey, if this doesn't work out for you, try getting ahold of a shitload of old circut boards and grind the solder and components off. After that you should have a slick smoothe surface aaaaannnnd you're recycling.
I used to make clipboards with that and people loved them.

Need 50? or just a few?
You could contact Metal Supermarkets...they've got all sorts of stuff and the chop-saw equipment to cut it to size. http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/ You pay by foot...but with so many cuts you might have to pay extra. Alum is quick to cut through...but you'll still need to clean up the edges and do finish work. I'd call Dave (Imperial Engravers)...and have it lasered in. If you're looking for thin stock...they have brass/alum on hand...but don't know about the dimensions you want. They do have material to do plaques on hand....so maybe that'd work. Dave's a good guy.....though double check the spelling first! |

Time is the key, client has
already picked the design direction, so the material has to be metallic or sim the appearance. There's no time to go with more than one supplier, So I'll try Dave, thanks for reminding me

Sex..."oregano"...money...cool toys....they all work on Dave. I'm sure you've got 3 of the 4 covered. Unless it's a sit-down meeting with the clients...then you'd better find some "oregano".
