Question about KSC/KWA glocks...
Im not sure if this should be in the upgrades section or not...
Regardless I was just curious as to the interchangablity of the KSC glocks and the KJW glocks, because I can only find KJW glocks for sale online, but as for upgrades they are for KSC glocks. What are the differences in the two? Would I be able to upgrade key components of the KJW glock with "KSC" branded upgrades??? And if not, does anyone know where I can find a KSC glock? (Model does not matter) Regards, Heyds EDIT: My appologies for the title, I meant KJW instead of KWA :S

without Age Verification you wont get anywhere
you can't use KSC parts for KJW, they are a TM clone, clone fit with orig parts is possible but the tolerances of a clone may make the orig part not fit right. look up KJW and see if they ship parts directly AV will get you to the classifieds here on ASC where there are glocks galore for sale right now of a higher quality than the KJW

then keep this in mind..
a good pistol will be pricey, Tokyo Marui and KSC are good and both have aftermarket support, still some parts are hard to get but you can reasonably expect the pistol to last ( keep in mind that you can get parts overseas but if you plan on buying from Canadian suppliers choice is limited) a cheaper pistol has less parts available and clones may suffer from fitting problems be prepared to have these sit around useless, annoying you because they broke

I know have 5 1/2 KSC/KWA Glocks,I love'em BUT! My G19's ans 26C's have never given me any issues but the 23F well it's looking like a parts gun at this time. Just for the fact parts seem next to none for the 23F and 18C. So it's something to think of as well!

You seem like a good kid, I'll give you some tips. Just lurk around for a few years then when you turn 18 get your AV tag and you'll be good to go. For now though if you have the itch just ask the field owner/admin REALLLLLLY REALLLLLLLLLY nicely if you can play. This isn't a surefire thing and you may be rejected but just say you respect the decision and you'll come back in 2-3 years or w/e.
Also technically you shouldn't have been able to purchase your airguns/airsoft/pellet guns. In Ontario there's a provincial bylaw that prohibits retailers selling to minors (elsewhere there is no such law but for the most part retailers elsewhere set their own ages to sell to). Now that it's after the fact I don't expect you to return them but just for future reference. PS: I have a KSC G19 and Mk.23. Both "beaters", the G19 was used with some scratches and a crack in the magplate and the Mk.23 was a heavy fixer or a parts gun pretty much but I hope it's working now (I gave it to a gundoc to look at didn't really get any feedback from him other than some initial diagnostic stuff). I haven't been able to find KSC pistols NIB in very many places actually. Even the asian retailers don't have them in stock. I was actually hoping to pick up a cheap one for next year, using it then selling it off. When I was shopping around I just couldn't find many places that still stocked KSC stuff TM et al. were plenty but not very many KSC's (don't order from overseas it will likely get seized, the only reason why I'm shopping around is because I will be overseas for a year and airsoft is legal to import there).

airsoftparts.ca is in country and you won't have to wait for customs to clear it or w/e.
ehobby, redwolf, War4, WGC, UNCompany and the major asian retailers are good. Aside from them I don't really know any other great retailers. As for parts you're fine except for receivers and any real steel prohib parts (this includes "compact" pistol slides, pistol frames, and either the upper receiver (MP5 comes to mind but I don't know any others) or lower receiver (M4 and the AK are the first ones that come to mind here). Other than that any internal parts, most exterior parts, and accessories should be fine (be aware that silencers are technically legal but may sometimes get seized, as well as clear mags with "faux rounds" in them (G36 and Sig mags some to mind here)) PS: I probably should have realized that from the way you post it doesn't seem like you'd try to be all badass-homie-g-unit-4-life-dawg and skirt the laws.

^^ False... ish. Since the 17 is the full size framed model, compact and subcompact frames (for example the 19 and 26) mags will fit and interface properly, but you will have to remove the floor plate since the mag is shorter that the frame.
You don't really want that. Stick with 17 frame sized mags or the 50 round extended mags. The inverse is also true, longer mags will fit the smaller frames, but in this case will act as mini-extended mags. |
