Headset for Midland Radio

I have a Midland GXT800 5w radio that is water resistant, takes AAs, and generally works satisfactorily.

Midland branded headsets work well but the wires are highly prone to coming apart. I need suggestions of the best headset(s) to look into.

$200 or less would be nice.

So far I have looked at this site:

Lack of prices tells me is probably out of my budget.

There are no frogman headsets on the devgru site!

So...what should I buy?

What kind of pin does it use, Kenwood style 2-pin?

I suspect may be proprietary, the holes are 7mm apart. o<--7mm-->O

Considering:
