There are lot's for sale on the classifieds. Look into how to get Age Verified, should be easy in your area. Once the site updates, you will cream when you see what is up for sale in there.

+1! More expensive gear than ACM stuff... but that stuff will most likely last you a lifetime. True story - family friend of mine shops there for a training program he runs - the only major equipment failures he's had were KSC Glock slides breaking as a result of the Serpa holsters... now the KSC's didn't come from Dave's, so nothing that he's gotten from there has failed him as of yet.

Do you have to be AV'd to get to the gear section now?

I don't believe so, last time I checked you didn't have to be 18+ to buy clothes.
They may have locked it though because of people sneaking parts in with their gear sale threads, I've seen a lot of that lately.

i have been keeping an eye open in the gear section, im just about to go to school so im on a bit of a budget. if it only lasts me a season or two i would be fine with that. ideally id like something from eagle but condor would do, so somthing in the sub 200 range

You can get some good deals on Redwolf. Shipping is a bit much, but they have a huge selection of gear. See if any of your pals want to do a group order.

Sorry, I have no idea what Condor is made with and frankly don't care anymore after my experience with their products.
If you really want Condor quality (price too; you get what you pay for)... PoCo Military carries them, if you're in that area. I wouldn't recommend you go there as my experience with them was them trying to sell me a few hundred dollars worth of stuff that I really didn't need then or now. There is also Warcraft Games (I think that's what they're called...) in Mission and another PoCo Military location... somewhere, lol. Redwolf carries mostly Pantac stuff. They're supposedly an awesome brand (I haven't had any experience with their products... yet. Damn you, Canada Post and CBSA. Three weeks is way more than enough of a wait). AFAIK, local guys do Redwolf orders on a somewhat regular basis - if you get to know some of them... us... well, you might be able to hop into one of our orders sometime. In terms of style choices, you know what you could do - show up to a local game and take a look at other players' rigs. Some guys would totally let you try stuff on, or at least show you how they set their gear up and where they store everything. The club I mostly play with is called Op-For and they play mostly at Panther Paintball in Surrey. Feel free to drop by sometime and introduce yourself. You can take a look at the rigs people have and do a rough comparison of the quality of different brands' offerings. |
