Looks good. I like the ruggedized paintjob.

Technical issue: shouldn't it have a Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II on it for it to follow the Block 2 spec? It currently looks closer to the Block 1 specification.

Also the MK18 is a 10.5" barrel carbine so the 9.5 inch DD rail would not be found on the 14.5" carbine

In the transition, the 14.5" will get the DD 12" RIS or the 12" fsp RIS. Also the DD rails will only be going to SOF and not regular forces.

i don't understand why don't they get a monolithic railed upper? the US army wants the next variant of the M4 to have a monolithic upper. would improve accuracy and would reduce overall empty weight of the rifle.

probably because that would mean replacing thousands of uppers completely with alot of parts and the US military goes for the cheapest bidder. plus they need the bottom to come off for m203. are there any monolithic rails with that capability?
