Hey all,
I just got a 5 pack of KA mid caps for my g36c and they don't lock into place nicely like the hi-cap that came with the gun... any tips? Thanks |

Compare them side by each with your hi-cap. Chances are you will see some differences in where the mags are supposed to catch.
My King Arms mags for my G3A3 were 'fully' compatible according to KA but when you measured them with calipers with my Hi-caps they were out in several areas. In fact they were so out in one direction they were more apt to break the magwell than fit right. In particular to your issue, the mag lock 'groove' wasnt in the right place so the mags wouldnt lock ( as well as several other issues which I had to alter with a belt sander and a Xacto knife)

If you got the same ones as my room mate, they will never fit properly.
The hole to feed the BBs is molded too far forward, so the mag won't clip because the magwell prevent the mag from entering fully. You can confirm this by having the mag in and ramming the bottom of it with your hand. In my case, the mag clips, but good luck removing it after, especially in a battle situation. |

I have fitting issues with my KA standard mags in my CA36. They are TIGHT. The catch on the magazine is molded different than the CA magazines. Not sure how that applies to the KW G36, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.
