JG MP5 Magazine Compatibility

So I recently bought a 200rd hi cap for my G&G however, the damn thing won't fit. I've tried searching the forum for answers but can someone tell me if JG mags are compatible with G&G? The JG mag is almost 100% clone of the G&G mag from what I can see.

both jg and g&g are tm clones so tolerances are not going to be tight. You're just going to have to mod the mag to fit.

press up from the bottom of the mag and give it a bit of pressure to see if it feeds at all.
Does the mag "click" into the magwell? sometimes the magcatch doesn't engage wich mean you'd have to either file down the mag catch or the mag itself.

I've tried everything. It just seems stuck halfway and won't go past the magcatch. I think it's probably the magcatch but regardless, I think I'll just return it for store credit. Thanks tho!
